Hello Beautiful - CSI Special Case File CC-5

Dear all,

we're opening a special Case File today! CSI is joining forces with Archi-Scraps to bring you a special collaboration Case File that will be open for investigation the entire month of May! We're happy to welcome the Archi-Scraps design team as Collaborating Agents.
I've long been a fan of and cheerleader for challenges, and when Julene Matthews, founder of Archi-Scraps, invited to me submit a layout for one of her challenges a while back, I was delighted to discover a new challenge. Archi-Scraps is a creative take on the inspiration challenge, where the players are presented with an architectural image that inspires elements for your layout.
I thought it would be fun to create a joint challenge to bring attention to this very clever challenge blog, so I proposed the idea to Julene. She sent me their May Archi-Scraps image, and I created a Case File using that image.
One of the perks of a Collaboration Case File is that you can create one layout and enter it for two different challenges. That means you have a chance to win a prize fromArchi-Scraps' sponsor and CSI's awesome May sponsors. You can read about our sponsors and the prizes they're donating here. Make sure you post your layout in both the CSI Gallery and on the Archi-Scraps blog (their link tool is on the upper right corner).
If you know of a challenge that might like to collaborate with CSI in the future, send me a message.
So, are you ready for our special Collaboration Case File? Grab your forensics kits, CSI members, and get ready for some serious sleuthing as we open Case File No. CC-5.

Here's my layout ....
The Color Scheme : Periwinkle Purple, Bright Pink, White, Pale Periwinkle Purple and Olive Green.
The Evidence : Flowers, Hearts, Paints and Metal.
The Testimony : I chose the Presentation which is adding hearts to my journaling, it said"Hello Beautiful, you make me happy in a way no one else can."
Before I forgot, here's the food for your thought,"Worrying doesn't take away tomorrow's troubles, it takes away today's peace..." Thanks for stopping by... hugs, Merry.

Baby Girl

Dear beautiful readers,
how are you this time? Well, can't believe May is here. First thing first, food for thoughts for us is,"Don't let a bad day make you feel like you have a bad life." And here's the new challenge from 123 Challenge Blog May Challenge
And here's my layout...
To be honest, this one quite challenging for me as I wasn't really fit while doing it and banners haven't always be my thing. I'm not really good with it. So somehow, I did a lot of browsing in pinterest and found this layout HERE. WOW! She's really blowed up my mind with her page. So I thought I did the same except my way, which is mix media way :)
To start with, I did lots of gesso, glued papers from old books (after I teared them into pieces) to create textures for my background. I did structure paste as well to add variation. Then I started to cut different kind of papers that match the color Beige to create my own banners. Once I'm done... I glued everything, sewed them together and altered the paper with Rangers Ink - Tea Dye, Walnut Stain.
I splattered some Lindy's Stamp Gang - Cape Cod Coral, Clam Bake Beige and some black ink for some messy look. Well, thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a great day!! Sending you all the hugs, Merry.

Nature Beauty - CSI Case File 163

Dear all,
Happy Friday! And Happy May! But before sharing what's going on at CSI (Color, Stories, Inspiration), I would like to give you a food for thought which is,"Climb mountains not so the world can see you, but so you can see the world."
We love the beginning of a new month--so many new things--new sponsors, new guest designers, and a new theme tying together our Case Files--not to mention the debut of our newest Detectives. This week we present our Major Case File, which stays open for investigation for the whole month and features our Composite Sketch, created just for us by The Nifty Pixel!

We're so excited to have 3 main sponsors this month! They are presented alphabetically.

Finally, we are pleased to our permanent sponsor who will be offering a wonderful prize of embellishments to this month's Star Witnesses.
Scrapbook Fantasies  is a Scrapbooking, Papercrafts and Mixed Media business opened in November 2002 in Gladstone, Queensland.  The well stocked store receives new stock daily, and supports a boutique style online store here.  The owner Alicia runs Weekly Challenges and many other competitions giving away over $250 dollars in store vouchers every month.  The Gallery  hosts thousands of customer creations, and is available for viewing without login. Parcels are posted within Australia at a flat $6.50 or the actual postage rate (whichever is the lesser), or FREE for orders over $100.  International parcels are posted at the actual postage rate.
We're designating May as another Mix-It-Up Month. Did you know that May 1 is the beginning ofToad Suck Daze? You'll have to go read about this unusually named festival. With that in mind, we've chosen a wacky Scene to inspire this week's Case File, by Alexandra Narvaez.
So, are you ready for this week's challenge? Grab your forensics kits, CSI members, and get ready for some serious sleuthing as we open Case File No. 163.
And here's my layout...
The Color Scheme : Unbefroggably Green, Turquoise Daze, Toilet Water, Porcelain Goddes and Toadally Brown.
The Evidence : Frame, Washi Tape, Scallops and Watercolor.
The Testimony : I chose Presentation which is framing my journaling.
Thanks for stopping by, hope that you could also play along... Hugs, Merry.
